I am not sure I knew you had a blog. So was excited to see that you are going to keep it going, and add some of your beautiful photography!!
Also excited to see your Christmas celebration this year…yay you! I didn’t do much this year, still working through the making of “new traditions” and trying to figure ot what they are. The will come I now…thankful to see your are moving ahead too…
Thank you Bobbi, it took longer than I would ever have thought. Taking the little glass ornaments that Tina gave me each year were the hardest, but actually brought a smile to my face when I realized most of them were tiny birds..(who would have thought..huh!)
You and I both sadly know that Christmas is the hardest, but I tried something and it really felt (odd at first) then really good. I tossed some of the really old decorations and ‘made’ new ones. Not store bought, but made out of pinecones from our own trees, boughs mixed with ‘new’ shiny little balls of silver and gold; (dried the cones in the oven and they opened wide, then sprinkled ‘essence of pine’ over them…oh the aroma filled the house … and it was fun ‘re-decorating’.
One new tradition I will keep…..making Swedish pancakes on Christmas morn …I’ll keep that one.
I know there was a heavenly smile Bobbi….I could feel it in my heart. You will too, I promise (and I never break my promises).
Love you bunches too.
